About Us

The Bev Center started in 2024 as a way to give beverage students the tools they need to succeed when challenging rigorous wine, spirit, and beverage certifications. 

Our goal is to empower and inspire confidence for beverage students with any range of expiernce or comfortability. Beverage education requires support and we are here to give it to you!

Elijah B. Smith is our lead beverage educator. He has multiple years if various restaurant concepts across the United States, ranging from casual tapas spots, to two Michelin star chef counters. Throughout his time as Service Director, Sommelier, and Captain of these various spots, he gained a thirst for more beverage knowledge, leading him to acquire certifications that included but are not limited to: Certified Wine Educator, Certified Specialist of Spirits, Certified Sommelier, Certified Sherry Wine Specialist, and WSET Level III Wine & Spirits.
